German agency says country’s gas storages 78% full
BERLIN, Aug 19 (PRIME) -- Germany's underground gas storages are 78.2% full, the country’s Federal Network Agency said in a statement on Friday.
Germany's largest storage facility Rehden, earlier owned by Russian gas giant Gazprom, is 58.04% full compared to 1% in April.
Germany earlier amended its legislation to oblige the operators of gas storages to fill them by 85% by October and 95% by November.
